A while back, I wrote a review on L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise Mascara, which has easily become my new holy grail, and has bumped off Maybeline’s HyperCurl to Number 3, and Pixi Beauty’s Lash Booster Mascara to Number 2. But I think after what happened to me last night, it’s safe to say that it skyrocketed into a whole new level of favorite.

So as mentioned, I applied the mascara around lunch time, and it looked like this:
You can see that the mascara gives the right amount of both volume and curl, which really complements my lashes, because they’re long, but naturally straight. So what I do is with a good eyelash curler (nothing beats Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler for me), I curl my lashes in three areas—the base (as close to my lids as possible), the middle, and the tip—this way, it makes a perfect curl and doesn’t get that weird L-shape. After curling, I take the mascara wand and blot the excess on tissue paper—then I wiggle the wand starting at the base of my lashes before moving up towards the tips.
Even as I got home after playing, at around 11pm, my lashes were still fabulous. I raved about it immediately on Facebook, and my cousin (who works out a lot) messaged me and told me she uses the same mascara to the gym, yet it never budges either.
