It’s been a while since the last time I wrote a review about glutathione. The last brand I reviewed back in 2015 (it was also my first time to try taking glutathione supplements), my blog post garnered over 200 comments and questions (even up to this day, actually!) that I decided to review another brand: Glutaredox.
I mentioned before that the reason I started incorporating glutathione supplements in my everyday routine is because of the way it made my pores appear smaller, and my skin look and feel younger. I’m not really after trying to become whiter or fairer—I heard that if you’re already born with fair skin, which I was, because of my mom’s genes, that glutathione doesn’t really have an effect in making you even whiter than you already are. Instead, what I was really after was looking flawless and radiant, having no pores, and improving the health of my hair—which glutathione was able to help me achieve. Moving on to Glutaredox, the brand recently launched last February 2018 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel. I was supposed to attend the event but unfortunately, I got sick during that same weekend—so I ended up resting it out. But the brand still sent over a couple of boxes for me to try (each box contains 30 sublingual tablets), so I started drinking the supplements right away to see the immediate effects and write my review.
What makes this supplement different from the previous ones I’ve tried is that it comes in a sublingual tablet—meaning you have to leave it under your tongue and let the tablet melt.
Its patented formulation of a high concentration of reduced Glutathione, Vitamin C, Selenium, and L-Cysteine along with its Oro-FS-Release Technology assures a 100% absorption rate—making it superior as compared to other brands. They even say that it has the same effect as a glutathione injection, except that it comes in a simple sublingual tablet that’s easy and convenient to take! The four active ingredients mentioned all help maximize body performance, modulate the immune system, have anti-oxidant and anti-aging properties, improve the health of hair, and promote skin repair. In fact, these last two months that I was taking Glutaredox, I saw and felt the difference in my skin and hair! I was getting less hair fall and breakage, plus my skin looked flawless and radiant.
I think the only thing I’m not a big fan of is the flavor, because it tastes like a sour candy. But it’s something that I can easily ignore, so after it melts under my tongue, I just wash off the taste with water! If you’re looking to experience the same benefits, especially having radiant skin and healthy hair (which I can honestly attest to), I really recommend trying Glutaredox. It may be a little on the pricey side (Php 2,380 for a box of 30 capsules) but it’s definitely worth it.
